Video monitoring system of security based on Wi-Fi

According to the actual need of the smart home video surveillance, a wireless video surveillance system based on Cortex M3 system components was designed in this paper. STM32F103 was selected by the system to be main controller and OV2640 camera was used to a video capture device. Wi-Fi module WM-G-MR-09 based on the chip called Marvell 88W8686 transmit the video. The TCP/UDP protocol of transmit signals was used in wireless video monitoring system, which is compatible with IEEE802.11b/g protocol, performing H.264 hardware encoding, outputting the H.264 video stream. The system we developed has made heroic efforts at cost reduction and reduces power consumption, at the same time increase the security of the video monitoring system.
