The application of FFT in mobile energy efficiency detection terminal and the implementation by DSP

Under the huge challenges of the current global energy conservation and energy security, research on energy efficiency evaluation has become an attractive field. So a mobile energy efficiency detection terminal which can analyze the energy efficiency and display the real-time data is proposed in this paper. In order to get the power quality parameters such as voltage, current, reactive power, active power, power factor and so on, FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) algorithm is applied in the terminal and implemented by DSP. After a number of tests, it is proved that the terminal can analyze the efficiency rapidly and accurately.
