Can twitter posts predict stock behavior?: A study of stock market with twitter social emotion

With the applications of clouds computing and social network, it is of great interests for investors to grasp the variation and predict the trend in stock market. Because of too many factors that affect the stock market, it is quite difficult for a thorough understanding and successful prediction of the variation and the trend of stock market. By retrieving the emotional vocabulary in twitter social media, this paper aims to find the relevance of twitter users' mood change when they share tweets regarding the company's stock price trends. The study also implies some more accurate and efficient ways to improve the accuracy of prediction of the stock.
