A current-controlled DC-to-DC switchmode power converters emulator software

The objective of this work is to develop a software tool to help the learning of the current control loop fundamentals, when applied to DC-to-DC converters. The emulator was developed using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. The tools let the user choose among different DC-to-DC converters, compensation networks and feedback topologies. Once the selection has been made and the different values of the components stablished, a frequency response analysis is shown. The development of this emulator is a very solid tool for the educational community, and it allows the students to analyze and design control circuits in a very flexible way.
