Energy flow control of interconnected structures

In previous works (1993), H/sub 2/ and H/sub /spl infin// control techniques were used to regulate energy flow in a certain frequency band. In this paper, controllers are designed according to a specialised LQG positive real control approach that yields positive real controllers. Thus the resulting controller minimizes an H/sub 2/ performance index and guarantees asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system in spite of the modeling uncertainty.
