Big data analytics in healthcare: A survey approach

The development of the concept of business intelligence and analysis has emphasized the importance of the collection, integration, processing of data and reporting of underlying knowledge and how this knowledge can help to make more appropriate business decisions, acquire a better understanding of market behaviors and trends. Tremendous growth of the data has enabled us to uncover the hidden knowledge from data. We can use the Big Data analysis for effective decision making in healthcare domain using the existing machine learning algorithms with some modification to it This paper summarizes the role of Big Data analysis in healthcare and various shortcomings of traditional machine learning algorithms.
