A new concept of intelligence in the electric power management

The future belongs to the smart factor, and only after perfectly integrated logistics processes create the necessary preconditions. Talking about electricity, we find that on one hand the electricians create the Smart Grid, while on the other hand the logisticians present the Smart Supply chain, two concepts that integrate by two different ways, the intelligence to the electricity management. In this work, we create a reconciliation between the two concepts, by first comparing the classical electricity supply chain, the electricity supply chain based on a smart grid, and the smart supply chain as seen by the industrialists. We focus on one side of the smart supply chain namely “interconnectivity”, and we provide a set of indicators to evaluate the proposed supply chain.
