Efficiency improvement of a solar PV-panel through spectral sharing by combination of different panels

Power generation from solar photovoltaics has been increasing since the last decades. Currently, ground-mounted solar-PV, solar rooftop-PV, Building integrated-PV, and Roof-Jack mounting system are the available methods in photovoltaics for deployment of solar energy. The performance of a solar PV system has depended mainly on conversion efficiency which depends on the material used for construction, electrical losses and spectral losses. It is very difficult for a material to utilize entire solar spectrum with same absorption factor. In low efficient PV systems, the sensitivity of a material to the solar spectrum is one of the main issues. In a low efficient PV system, the question like, How to enhance the efficiency of a solar PV panel with the optimum cost? persist. With the spectral sharing, the efficiency of a solar PV system can be increased. In this paper, a method has proposed to improve the efficiency by spectral sharing. Approximately 25-55% of efficiency can be possible with proposed method.
