A low-power PSoC-based environmental monitoring system

This paper presents the development of a portable adaptive environmental data logger with an emphasis on low-power operation. The developed device is based on a programmable system-on-chip (PSoC), records temperature and relative humidity values, and saves the data on a microSD memory card. The main characteristics of the device consist in low power consumption, small dimensions and adaptive operation. This later feature allows the use of different combinations of probes in different scenarios.
