Identification of hybrid wind power unit control parametrs for the purpose of loses optimization

The efficiency of autonomous power supply systems based on hybrid wind power plants depends on many factors, both climatic and cost-related. This paper is describes the usage of DC bus voltage as control system variable in order to minimize loses in those systems. In order to evaluate possible regulation range of DC voltage the evaluation of hybrid wind power battery voltage level which would ensure maximum these systems efficiency of generating system in case of variable wind speeds is required. This task was achieved by means of computer simulation of the hybrid wind power unit operating modes for various wind conditions.
