Enhanced-bandwidth planar LPDA with conical arms

This paper proposes a printed log periodic antenna with bow-tie arms for wideband applications. A parametric study is performed to optimize the prototype in terms of radiation efficiency, bandwidth and dimensions. The optimized antenna is fabricated and the simulated and measured results are compared.
