Learning English through project-based learning: The case of engineering education

Improved English language skills will enable engineers to keep involved with recent developments in engineering areas. This is important in a learning perspective as it may enable engineers to develop competences needed in new areas of engineering and for job opportunities in an international environment. They not only make good representatives but may also become an important asset in meetings and negotiations with foreign companies. We have tried in this paper to mention some suggestions and new ways to develop all skills related to English Language that might be useful for both-teachers and future engineers. The finding of this study reveals that PBL is indeed a better way of learning combining theory and practice to help increase the employability skills of the students.
