Evaluation of electrical insulation exposed to amorphous metal transformer core annealing temperature

An evaluation of potential coil insulation materials for an oil-filled amorphous metal cored distribution transformer is presented. The design concept assumed requires the transformer core and windings be subjected to the amorphous metal core annealing temperature-time cycle during manufacture.
