Modeling and maximizing extracted PV power by converter boost interlaced

The objective of this article is to compare two topologies of converters Boost DC-DC, classical and interlaced, in terms of the values of the amplitudes of currents their output voltage and undulations, size of the components of the converters and delivered power. Our work presents a technical approach for the improvement and the optimization of the adaptation's performances of power of a photovoltaic system by the interlacing the classical Boost's branches. For this was modeled in MATLAB /Simulink, the photovoltaic system, the power interface (DC/DC Boost interlaced) and the load. The results obtained with different values of duty cycle D, show a minimization with half of the currents in the components of the converter compared to a traditional Boost converter. In addition to a considerable reduction of the currents' undulations of entry according to shift X.T of the switches' ordering. In the same way, the power extracted from the panel is clearly increased by adopting a suitable shift X.T.
