Analysis and comparison of MPPT nonlinear controllers for PV system

This paper describes an approach to MPPT PV system based on sliding mode and fuzzy logic controllers. Due to the non-linear characteristic of the output, fuzzy logic control and sliding mode are introduced to achieve MPPT. The simulation is carried out based on proposed algorithm. Compared with the conventional duty cycle of P&O method, they can track de maximum power point quickly and accurately.
