Integration of information technologies and communication on mechanical engineer formation a comparative study

The integration of Information Technologies and Communication (ITC) on education is an irreversible process. Facing this context, school needs to be prepared for this reality. Many are the challenges faced to overcome all difficulties related to the appropriate integration of such technologies, in special, societies that are economically poorer. Therefore, it has been made necessary to take as first step to set up improvements, results of process that it provides more positives aftereffects than the opposite. According to it was stated, this paper lays the foundations of a comparative study amid the Federal Institute of Technologies (IFMA)/Brazil and University of Aveiro (UA)/Portugal, it aims to contribute deeply to the understanding of process related to appropriate integration of ITC on formation process of future mechanical engineers. In methodological terms, this paper is a comparative study. It aims to make possible a comparative diagnose on the appropriate usage of ITC and all its didactic integration potential. This diagnose will be make possible to create projects to reduce the distances and promote improvements in educational process, in special, the professional formation at all.
