Hybrid wind-solar systems using CUK-SEPIC fused converter with quasi-Z-source inverter

3G means distributed generation, micro grid, and smart grid has become a popular topic and is developing rapidly due to energy shortage. The energy requirement in the world is ever increasing due to the increase in population and their standard of living. There exists a gap between power generation and power demand. The energy demand imposes several challenges on the conventional fossil fuels like oil, gas, and coal. Due to these challenges the renewable energy sources plays an important role in distributed generation, micro grid, and smart grid Among different renewable energy sources the solar and wind is having great potential of supplying energy to meet the demand. The renewable energy sources are fluctuating in nature hence the hybridization is required to overcome the fluctuating nature to an extent. In this project the dual input single output DC-DC converters are proposed for stand-alone systems. The converter is a combination of CUK and SEPIC converter called CUK-SEPIC fused converter
