Mechanical characteristics of MU-type MCF connector

For practical use, multicore fiber connectors must have stable optical characteristics. We employed Oldham's coupling mechanism inside MU-type connector plug housing and realized stable mechanical characteristics against applied tensile load. We confirmed loss variation less than 0.2 dB under the tensile lord less than 13.1 N in 90° direction.
