Circularly polarized electrically small radiators on substrate integrated waveguide

A travelling wave excited electrically small radiator using substrate integrated waveguide technology is proposed. The proposed small radiator provides a circularly polarized radiation. A wide band matching is obtained due to travelling wave excitation mechanism. The radiation principle as well as a design example are presented in this paper.
