Experimental comparison between super-channel and sub-band single-carrier for 400 Gb/s and 800 Gb/s transport

124 GBaud single-carrier based on 4-sub-band transmitter is compared experimentally with 4×30.25 GBaud super-channel solution. Using QPSK and 16QAM in a 125 GHz grid, we evaluate implementation penalties and performance in back-to-back and after long-haul transmission.
