Ultrawideband ballistic radome with solid Dyneema® core

Design, fabrication and characterization of an ultra wideband solid core radome is presented. The design which employs a solid Dyneema® core combines exceptional EM performance with good structural and ballistic capabilities. Several designs will be presented that demonstrate less than 0.5 dB of transmission loss from 4.0 to 40.0 GHz.
