Energy Distribution Of Field Emitted Charged Particles During Beam Propagation

In the energy distribution for the field emitted charged particle, the energy spread and energy deficit have an effect on the chromatic aberration which is important for the focusing device system. This study estimates the quantitative values of energy broadening and peak energy shift during beam propagation for the beams emitted from a small area. In this calculations, model equations in [11 are employed, where random velocity and random emission rate at the emit surface will be considered for the cause of particle random location.
