Induction machine performances in scalar and field oriented control

This paper attempts to focus on induction machine performances in field oriented control and direct self scalar control schemes. This comparative study consists in finding the inherent advantages and disadvantages of each control method. Simulation results are presented to verify which type of control scheme provides excellent dynamic and static behaviour.
