On the mechanism of changes in military embedded systems

Most of the software engineering methodologies deal with the modelling of the system development life-cycle and concentrate significant effort into the subjects of regulating, controlling and handling changes. The author probes the sources, nature and underlying mechanisms of the changes in the development of embedded systems for the military. Some insight into the nature of the problem itself is provided.<>
