Seeker-Optimized Guidance Integrated Fuzing

The concept of guidance integrated fuzing (GIF) is investigated in this paper with emphasis on fuzing parameter estimation. Using GIF, the advantage of common processing and common aperture can be taken of, improving weapon effectiveness. The guidance integrated fuzing is formulated with comparison to the traditional hollow cone fuzing. Various fuzing parameter estimation schemes are developed. Test data processing results are also presented.
