Model for calculation of post service efficiency by using GIS

The goal of the paper is to find model of using GIS in monitoring and evaluation of postal service management. The methodology which is used is two visualize some data about work efficiency by creating separate layers and analyzing them. The analysis of results shows big potential of GIS as a tool for economic analysis. In the case of postal system of Serbia it proves that cross cutting analysis of various factors and their visualization gives better model for economical improvements of system management. The scientific contribution of this paper is to introduce GIS as valuable tool for economical research.
