A Stable Model Reference Adaptive Control System with a Priori Knowledge About Plant Parameter

A Parameter adaptive algorithm,suitable for direct Parameter discrete time model reference adaptive control system with a priori knowledge about the plant parameter variations is proponed.This algorithm is based on Lyapunov's stability theory and additionally with prior! informations of the plant parameter variations.There are many instances where all the plant Parameters donot vary.In -such situations fast adaptation and added stability can be achieved by giving zero weightage to the corresponding controller parameters. Therefore stability of the system in the z-plane and perfomance of convergence is more guaranteed.
