The telecom 1 power subsystem from design to flight

The unregulated power subsystem of TELECOM 1 is presented. Such a concept being totally new in Europe in the kilowatt range, many analyses and tests have been performed to assess some potential problem areas during initial development phase. The tests performed at system level during spacecraft integration, as well as initial in flight datas, show an excellent subsystem performance.
