Abstract:

The paper deals with the modeling of and design of resonant converters including the nonlinear model of inductance. The main part of paper shows the way how to simulate a nonlinear behavior of a real ferromagnetic core of inductance in MATLABenvironment. Carried-out results are original ones, and in spite of non-linear circuitry the output voltage THD is staying rather small, about 7–11%. Designed nonlinear elements have been inputted in to the simulation model of LCLC resonant converter. The modeling and simulation experiments have been provided in MATLAB software environment. The simulation results are compared with OrCAD results and the experimental measurement as well. The comparison is given on the top of the paper.
