Microwave tomographic imaging for industrial and medical applications

The research of microwave tomographic imaging started in the late 1980's and early 1990's. In this paper, advances in developing microwave tomographic imaging systems for industrial and medical applications at Manchester, UK are outlined. The microwave tomographic imaging technique is illustrated with several examples. Practical applications of microwave tomographic imaging systems are assessed.
