Perspectives and challenges for future dynamic optical networks

In this paper, we discuss some of the key problems in future dynamic optical networks, such as multi-domain heterogeneous network inter-communication and all-optical sub-wavelength switching and routing, summarize their current research status, and present the potential solutions.
