Simulating the dynamics of evolutions of serum HBV DNA levels and ALT levels for 115 Asians and 113 non-Asians HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients' Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (TDF) 48 weeks therapy reported by C. Pan et al., the results show that TDF anti-HBV infection therapy may not only suppress the HBV DNA levels via destructing patients' infected hepatocytes but also activate patients' ability of cytokine-midiated non-cytolytic HBV clearance, which clears HBV directly without damaging patients' hepatocytes.
