Reconfigurability research of satellite attitude control system under reliability constraints

Current researches about control system reconfigurability mainly concerned on fault-tolerant ability under system control resource constraints. However, they did not consider the system reliability problems. This paper focuses on the reconfigurability of satellite attitude control system under reliability constraints. Actuator failure factor was included in the control system modeling. Based on the controllability Gramian Matrix, reconfigurability measurement index under energy limitation constraints was obtained. By introducing components reliability index and calculating overall system reliability with actuator faults, finally, we obtained the reconfigurability index under reliability constraints. From the simulation results of satellite ACS with various configuration MWs, it reveals that control reconfigurability is not only related to the controllability of the system but it's also related to overall system reliability.
