Analysis of the thermal regime of the geomagnetic electronic module

Summary form only given. Geomagnetic electronic module (GMEM) is a complete functional device for measuring weak magnetic fields such as the components of the magnetic field of the earth. The GMEM includes a 3D geteromagnetic primary converter (GPC) that measures the magnetic field and a data processing system that handles the correction of GPC readings by temperature factor. The GMEM contains three such differential GPCs oriented in mutually perpendicular directions. Both the ferrite YIG microcavity and the magnetic system have temperature dependent parameters. The purpose of the GMEM thermal regime analysis is to determine the start-up time, the maximum temperature differences, and the identification of the number and locations of temperature sensors needed to obtain a more accurate accounting of the temperature's influence to the outputs of the GPC.
