A wideband architecture for adaptive feedforward linearization

Feedforward linearization has the potential for large operating bandwidths. However, no published work has addressed the two largest hurdles to truly wideband performance: delay mismatch and unwanted frequency dependence of the circuit elements. This paper presents two structural innovations that solve these problems. A prototype has demonstrated up to 40 dB reduction of intermodulation products over a 40 MHz range and 25 dB or more over an 80 MHz range.
