Reduction of exciting current of induction machine during connection to electrical grid

The paper deals with simulation and measuring of the induction generator, especially during its connection to the electrical grid. During the grid connection there is a problem with high exciting current needed to be reduced. The paper also deals with the selection of suitable method and its optimization.
