Carbon Reduction of the Taiwan and China

The aim of this paper is to share our thoughts on key topical issues in the arena of carbon reduction common market cross Taiwan Strait. ECFA is just the "cake" that will extend the economic ties and free trade across the Taiwan Strait and the Carbon market participation can provide a significant boost to sustainable energy activities of both sides even more obvious. The common greenhouse gas reduction market is large and growing rapidly. This study contains four major contents: (1) IPAT Identity and its variants as Factors Decomposition method for capita CO2 emission, (2) The Emission quotas (known as "Assigned amounts"), (3) Carbon inventory and (4) Carbon Trading.
