Plenary talk — Bi-2223 wire and its future in large scale application

HTS applications should have good future in China. The economy feasibility of HTS large scale applications, for example HTS cable, will be addressed. For the large scale applications, Bi-2223 wire plays an important role. Recent developments of Bi-2223 wires will be introduced. And the possibility of future price reduction of the Bi-2223 wire will be also discussed in this talk.
