Analytical calculation of natural frequencies of stator of switched reluctance motor

This paper presents a method of calculating the frequencies based on the energy principle, taking into account bending shear and extensional strain energies, and also translational and rotatory kinetic energies. Analytical results are compared with experimental results, and good agreement is obtained.
