C-band active reflectarray based on high impedance surface

This paper presents in detailed manner the progressive design and development of an active reflectarray using an active High Impedance Surface (HIS) as main reflector. Measurements demonstrating the performances and the radiation pattern agility of the proposed antenna concept are also presented and discussed.
