New developments in transient field modeling with the transmission line matrix (TLM) method

In this paper, techniques for analyzing and designing integrated circuit components and packages using time and space discrete time domain field simulation are described, with emphasis on the transmission line modeling (TLM) method. The advantages and also the challenges of electromagnetic field modeling in the time domain are considerable.
