Reflection amplification by a fish-scale metamaterial placed on an optically gain substrate

The possibility of achievement of the reflected field amplification by the metamaterial made of microstrip grating placed on the layer of an optically gain dielectric is shown. The comparison of obtained results with ones known for the metamaterial with a lossy substrate is curried out.
