The ISCE Conference is mainly sponsored by IEEE as well as CE Society. It carries two significant meanings to have ISCE 2013 here. MIT (made in Taiwan) has changed the connotation significantly over the past decades. People around the world recognize it as a mature consumer electronics manufacturer island. The other prized feature is the venue is held in the birth place of CE industry in Taiwan, Hsinchu. An Insightful tour has arranged for our attendees to see Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI} and Hsinchu Science Park. ITRI plays the vital role for transforming Taiwan's industry to a high-tech one while the Hsinclhu Science Park is the first and the best cradle for research and development of technologies. Several big names are included in our keynote speaker list this year. Start with Dr. Chun-Ting Liu from ITRI, and Prof. Liang-Gee Chen from NTU, giving us an intriguing opening speech. Later on, we have Dr. Cheui-Hee Hahm from Samsung and Mr. YungSheng Chang from E Ink Holdings Inc., to share their knowledge and experiences with us this year.
