Challenges in standardizing RAM testing for small unmanned robotic systems

The number of small unmanned ground robotic systems being used by Soldiers is drastically increasing. These systems provide Soldiers with the capability to perform reconnaissance and surveillance missions as well as investigate possible Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in a variety of locations ranging from roadside to subterranean and small enclosures, all while increasing the Soldier's safety. These small unmanned ground systems must be able to fulfill the needs of the soldier in all types of environments and terrains.
