U.S. government export control reform initiative - what's going on?

This paper will provide background information and discuss the need for export control reform. It will lay out the schedule for the Export Control Reform Initiative as well as provide an update on the current status of the ECR Initiative, including advances made in Phases I and II. It will provide insight into the proposed changes to the USML and the CCL and will discuss the proposed IT system modernization and the Export Enforcement Coordination Center (E2C2).
