A Study of Health Informatics Scenario in Pune

The researcher has following objectives in mind. a) To generate an awareness about the concept of health informatics. b) To highlight the career opportunities and academic courses available c) To demonstrate a typical Hospital Information System (HIS) with a sample HIS d) To study the scenario of computerization of hospitals in Pune with regard to the extent of computerization and e) To verify the modules available in the HIS software which they are offering the hospitals for the purpose of computerization of hospitals.
