Electroencephalogram analysis based on the instantaneous maximum entropy method

This paper describes the analysis of an electroencephalogram (EEC) signal from human brains on sleeping. The result of the analysis based on the instantaneous maximum entropy method (IMEM) clarified the multiple effect on the investigation of human sleep. By this analysis, the negative correlation was found between the sleep spindle and delta wave during deep NREM sleep. The fine structure of time dependent behaviour was made clear of an alpha wave at sleep onset, sleep spindle and delta wave during NREM sleep.
