A DC-12.8GHz fully differential buffer with 0.35dB gain variation for ultra-wideband applications

A fully differential two-stage buffer circuit is designed for full-band ultra-wideband frequency synthesizer. By employing compensation technique, the buffer has a 9.1dB voltage gain with 0.35dB variation for frequency lower than 12.8GHz. The 3dB bandwidth is 14.6GHz. The circuits are designed in 0.13μm CMOS technology, with power consumption of 17.1mW under 1.2V supply voltage.
