Diffraction of a radar pulse at a perfectly conducting half-plane

We analyze the diffraction at a perfectly conducting half-plane located in a dispersive dielectric of an harmonic pulse originating at z=0 at t=0. Using the Laplace transform and generalizing Bateman's (1959) theorem make it easy to get the solution of this diffraction problem in the image space. The Widder (1974) inversion formula of the Laplace transform yields numerical values of the solution at any time.
