Propagation characteristics and distribution of energy flow by dielectric waveguide with arbitrary inhomogeneous media in the middle layer

In this paper, we analyzed the distribution of energy flow for dielectric waveguide introduced as defect layers composed of dielectric circular cylinder array with deformed rhombic dielectric structure along a middle layer and investigated the influence of rhombic dielectric structure compared with deformed rhombic dielectric structure by using the propagation constants at the guided area for both TE₀ and TM₀ modes.
